Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using https://rgvreview.com operated by RGV Review, a product of Kennedy Media Group ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RGV Review, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you are using our services on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

RGV Review is an independent business reputation directory that indexes publicly available Google review data for businesses in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas. We provide:

A public directory of RGV businesses ranked by our 6-factor reputation score
Free business listing claim via Google OAuth verification
A dashboard for claimed businesses to monitor reputation scores, view review breakdowns, and track competitors
AI-assisted review response suggestions
Weekly reputation digest email reports
Optional paid subscription features for enhanced analytics and reporting

RGV Review is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Yelp, or Facebook.

3. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services following changes constitutes acceptance. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes by email.

4. Account Registration & Google OAuth

To claim a business listing, you must authenticate using Google OAuth. By doing so, you:

Grant RGV Review access to your Google account profile (name, email, photo)
Authorize RGV Review to access your Google Business Profile reviews
Authorize RGV Review to post owner responses to reviews on your behalf when you choose to do so

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may revoke our Google access at any time via myaccount.google.com/permissions.

5. Business Listing Claims

By claiming a business listing, you represent that you are the owner or authorized representative of that business. Fraudulent claims are a violation of these Terms and may result in account termination. RGV Review reserves the right to verify claims and remove fraudulent listings.

6. Third-Party Integrations

6.1 Google (Active)

Review data is sourced from the Google Places API and Google Business Profile API. Google review data is publicly available and subject to Google's Terms of Service.

6.2 Yelp (Pending)

Yelp integration is not currently active. The Yelp import button in the dashboard is displayed for future functionality pending Yelp API access approval. No Yelp data is currently collected or displayed.

6.3 Facebook (Pending)

Facebook review integration is not currently active. The Facebook import button in the dashboard is displayed for future functionality pending Meta platform approval. No Facebook data is currently collected or displayed.

7. AI-Generated Content

RGV Review provides AI-assisted review response suggestions. These suggestions are generated automatically and are provided for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI-generated content before posting it as an owner response. RGV Review is not responsible for the accuracy, appropriateness, or consequences of AI-generated responses you choose to publish.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Violate any applicable law or regulation
Use RGV Review to manipulate, falsify, or misrepresent business reviews or scores
Claim a business listing you do not own or have authority over
Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data without written permission
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our services
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
Impersonate any person, business, or entity
Use our services for any fraudulent or deceptive purpose

9. Subscriptions & Billing

RGV Review offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on RGV Review — including the scoring algorithm, design, software, and original text — is the property of Kennedy Media Group or its licensors. Review content displayed on RGV Review originates from Google and is the property of respective reviewers. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of RGV Review's original content is prohibited.

11. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

RGV Review scores are calculated from publicly available Google review data using our 6-factor algorithm. Scores are updated regularly but may not reflect real-time changes. RGV Review makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any business score, rating, or ranking displayed on this site. Scores should not be used as the sole basis for business or legal decisions.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RGV REVIEW AND KENNEDY MEDIA GROUP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE OUR SERVICES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RGV Review, Kennedy Media Group, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hidalgo County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

16. Privacy

Your use of our services is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.

17. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision shall be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RGV Review.
